Moderation and MIndfulness are actually just ways for us to slow down, turn inward, and use our inner senses to monitor and track our fitness and nutrition.
When it comes to exercise, mindfulness is paying attention to what our body enjoys doing, which movements seem most natural and which seem most effective. If you do what you actually enjoy, you’re more likely to stick with it.
I feel that there is plenty of information available about types of foods that are healthy/better for us and what we really need to focus on is our behaviors. Changing behaviors such as snacking at night, overeating, giving into cravings, and letting ourselves get too hungry. In this program we use whole foods and moderation to continue to enjoy eating while strategically eating the best foods for us most of the time.
The concept of moderation and mindfulness with our nutrition is a feeling…. The feelings of fullness, hunger and satisfaction.
When we pay attention to these, we can change our behaviors and mindset, which will reduce our overall caloric intake, giving us weight loss. It’s not a quick fix - it’s actually a slow process - but starting and stopping is even slower!

Mindfulness principles will help us create a plan that is best for your individual body, but in a sustainable way… a way that you can continue to be fit forever!
